Having visited before I have to say that I truly didn't take in the beauty that was all around me. After contacting my friend today and asking for a tour she gladly agreed to show me around.....
The sheer depth and detail once I truly stopped to look was amazing.
The first thing i felt was really welcome after being introduced to all the current visitors and shown around the main dance area in just those first five minutes I felt more welcome than I ever had at half of the clubs and venues SL has to offer.

Every one here on my visit today was having a great time and all were friendly and chatty.... What I love about this place is the games that they offer while you dance such as..... trivia, word scrambler and sploders

Just having been here for a short amount of time i'm being made to feel like I belong and there is a true country air and feel to this place.
Canyon Country was officially opened on November 3rd 2013 so although a fairly recent addition to all SL has to offer it is certainly one that has made an impact.
The main emphasis of the club is that it is all open to every one so you are free to wander where you will and believe me you should and here's why.....

| All good places have there own brand.... and to quote one such owner saying so... "we figured it couldn't be considered a country club without it's own brand of drinks" |
By this point in the tour I started doing my favorite thing and asking plenty of questions little did I realize there was so much more to see yet and they were only to happy to answer any questions I had no matter how silly...
"The vision for the club was to open the whole sim up to our guests and let them have a full country experience. We like to explore ourselves and encourage our guests to explore the club and sim as well. The sim is always open to everyone to enjoy and our DJ's start at 8am SLT with the last set beginning at 8pm SLT. Our DJs play a majority of country music with southern rock, blues and classic rock mixed in. Our hosts are always friendly and welcome everyone to the family and sim."
I have to say in my opinion they did indeed achieve this vision with spectacular scenery and breath taking views I am at a loss for words as I try and take in the full extent of what is on offer.

"We are hoping to have live artists once a month and hope to have a wide variety of live performers to entertain our guests. Every other Saturday night at 8pm SLT we host a barn dance in our barn. Singles and couples both are welcome to attend and meet new and old friends"

And there was still more to come.. I could happily spend all day here taking pictures enjoying all there is to be found......
We moved on and i was told the area we came across had started off as a joke but had taken on a life of its own i had to laugh because it certainly had its own air about it lol

As the tour draws to an end there was one more thing I was told i had to check out sure enough even i was impressed and awesome it was
A sim wide track for dirt biking above the main sim complete with bike rezzer and i could tell there was a great sense of pride about all that had been achieved.

As my tour drew to a close and I was saying my goodbyes I was told....
"we didn't want to be the typical club, we wanted to give people an experience, a whole environment"
"There's more, but some places are best discovered on your own."
"we hope people get out and explore and find their own little space here"
"We like to think that strangers are just friends we haven't met yet and love to have people join us for a few hours or come back on a regular basis. Our DJs love to take requests and dedications and the caretakers of the sim are always available for questions and tours."

To make something for all of SL's residents to enjoy in my opinion you succeeded in that vision.
